The 2014 proposal
In 2013, the LPEA board and membership appointed a planning committee to assess the current park governance and try to find a better way. The planning committee was a four member committee of resident professionals who pooled their collective strengths. The LPEA Planning Committee created a high level review of Goverance structures and recommendations that took a year of careful research and analysis of each remedy and recommendation for reviving and sustaining this community.
The plan was rejected by the LPEA Board same night as it was presented;
the membership was never shown the package.
